Crete 3: Heraklion

 Heraklion (or Iraklion) is the largest city on Crete (around 200,000 people).

The first photo shows something rather odd: The set-up was designed for a sculpture that was missing its head. Our guide was not aware of any other frame for a statue that deliberately left no room for the head.
