Iceland

 In August we visited Iceland for the first time.  Just a quick two-day visit.  We don't usually rent a car in foreign countries but we did there and it was the right decision.  Allowed us to take in a part of the Golden Circle.

Thingvaller is a national park and the site of the oldest parliament in the world.  Also it is a really cool landscape to walk through.

 

We dropped by a hot spring where we hardboiled an egg in the water, watched a geyser, and bathed our feet in warm water, all in a space about the size of a baseball infield.
