Done Draft

When people have asked me what I would do when I retired I usually replied "Drink heavily."  More seriously I would say: "Write fiction." And I have been editing unpublished short stories since I retired.

But last week I got an idea for a story that I liked a lot.  I started writing it on Wednesday and finished the first draft on Sunday.  6,300 words in five days.  I am a slow writer so for me that is terrific.  

So far, so good.
